Through UCAS, students can generally apply to a maximum of five course choices for most undergraduate programmes. Students applying for Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine can typically use up to four choices for these subjects and their fifth choice for a different course. Applicants to Oxford and Cambridge generally cannot apply to both universities in the same application cycle, subject to specific exceptions.
