It appears prominently on your degree (e.g., “Bachelor of Arts in Economics”) and provides depth/specialisation in that discipline. A minor is a secondary concentration, providing supplementary expertise without the depth of a major; it appears on your transcript but not your diploma. Minors are optional and majors are mandatory for graduation.
