Most public universities in Germany do not charge tuition fees for undergraduate and consecutive Master’s degrees, even for international (non-EU/EEA) students; you only pay a semester contribution fee of roughly €150-€350 per semester to cover administration, student services and often a public transport ticket. In the state of Baden-Württemberg, public universities charge a tuition fee of €1,500 per semester for non-EU international students in bachelor’s and consecutive master’s programmes, in addition to the semester contribution.
