About the Scholarship
The Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based award designed to open doors for high-achieving international students at one of the UK’s most prestigious universities.
The scholarship underscores Warwick’s belief that talent knows no boundaries, offering recognition and support to gifted global learners and helping them join the university’s vibrant community of knowledge-creators and future leaders.
Eligibility
- Be self-funded (You are considered to be a self-funded student if you are financing your studies with your own savings, receiving financial assistance from family or even if you take out a student loan).
- Be classed as an ‘overseas’ or ‘international-fee paying’ student for tuition fee purposes.
- Have applied for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Warwick starting in Autumn 2026. The course can be from any subject area (including our Foundation courses but excluding the MBChB course).
Important Dates
- Apply to UCAS before the equal consideration deadline of 14 January 2026.
- Submit a scholarship application before 12:00pm on Friday 27th February 2026.
- By 13th May 2026 you must be in receipt of an offer of a place to study at Warwick starting September 2026.
Note
Once you have submitted your application through UCAS you do not need to wait until a decision has been made on your application to apply for the scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to academically excellent candidates, therefore applying for a scholarship will not disadvantage your UCAS application in any way.
