The Max Medical Scholarship Programme

This Medical Scholarship Programme aims to empower talented students hailing from economically weaker sections to realise their dreams of pursuing a medical education in India. This scholarship emerges as a platform for deserving students to transform their aspirations into a tangible reality.

Overview of Max Medical Scholarship Programme

  • The scholarship form will only be available to students from economically weaker sections in esteemed government colleges of Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Lucknow, and Nagpur. 
  • The medical scholarship comprises four components: Tuition Fees Support, a Laptop, Text Books, Medical Tools, and an allowance for monthly expenses. 
  • The Laptop, Text Books, and Medical Tools will be made available to selected students in the 1st year of the Scholarship, with disbursements dependent on regular student performance assessments.

Selection Process

  • The applications will be open for a 15-day window following the program’s announcement. This will be followed by a selection process comprising multiple stages including application review and shortlisting, interviews of shortlisted applicants, and final selection basis submission of mandatory documents. 
  • The application criteria require all selected applicants to submit three mandatory documents namely their Class XII marksheet & certificate, NEET certificate with rank and Family Income Certificate. The Max Healthcare Foundation team may at its discretion ask an applicant to submit additional documents, on a case-to-case basis, to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • The selection process for these 100 MBBS students is based on rigorous evaluation criteria prescribed and to be assessed by a jury from Max Healthcare Foundation.
  • The scholarship is contingent on the selected students signing up for regular, periodic reviews and assessments that will guide their participation.

Terms & Conditions for Max Medical Scholarship Programme:

  • Student registration must be consented and approved by a legal parent or guardian, as applicable.
  • The Max Medical Scholarship Programme will be governed by the rules & procedures formulated by the Max Healthcare Foundation (MHF) team.
  • Decisions on process, final selection of applicants taken by the MHF team will be final and binding.
  • Any changes in the entire process, eligibility criteria, number of students of the Programme are at the sole discretion of the MHF team and can be revised anytime without prior notice.
  • The applicant at the time of submitting application shall declare and undertake that information and documents being submitted by it are true and Max Healthcare Foundation shall be entitled to reject the application and take any other appropriate action on discovering any incorrect submission by the applicant.
  • The grant of scholarship will not confer any right in favour of the applicant and the grant shall be solely governed by rules, procedures and criteria as per discretion of Max Healthcare Foundation which shall be final and binding.
  • MHIL reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of the terms at any time at its discretion without prior notice. Please check the terms and any guidelines periodically for changes.
