Admissions
The admission process for all undergrad programmes involves one or more of the following entrance pathways:
- Manipal Entrance Test (MET)– The MET is a common entrance test for admission to the B.Tech programs offered by MAHE Manipal, SMU Sikkim, MU Jaipur and MAHE Bengaluru. Additionally, MET is also used for admission to courses like B.Sc. Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, B.Sc. Biotechnology, Public Health and related programmes.
- Department Test (DT)– This test is for the Bachelor of Design, Animation, Graphic Design and Digital Media Marketing, BHM, Culinary Science, Hospitality, etc.
- Manipal Entrance Test (MET) + Department test (DT)– This combined pathway applies to courses such as the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and BBA (Honours), where shortlisted MET candidates are further assessed in the DT round.
- National Entrance Tests– Admissions to MBBS & BDS is through NEET UG, whereas admission to the BArch program is through National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), followed by Merit List preparation & Online counseling by MAHE Manipal.
