Introduction
The CUET continues to serve as a single , standardised gateway for undergraduate admissions across Central Universities and other participating institutions in India. By bringing multiple university-level entrance examinations under one framework, CUET aims to offer students – whether from metropolitan city or remote areas – a fair and accessible route to higher education.
For the upcoming academic year 2027-28 is expected to remain a crucial examination for students seeking admission to undergraduate programmes. The test assesses candidates through language papers , domain-specific subjects based largely on the NCERT syllabus and a General Aptitude test covering reasoning, quantitative ability , general knowledge and current affairs. As the National Testing Agency (NTA) finalises the official notification , aspirants should begin early preparation , understand the subject selection process carefully and track updates only through the CUET portal.
