The entire process of CBSE Post Result Re-evaluation is online and is to be completed through the official CBSE portal: https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html
Students can apply for:
- Scanned copy of evaluated answer books
- Verification of marks
- Re-evaluation of specific answers/questions
Students must first obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer sheet before applying for verification or re-evaluation.
Process: CBSE post result revaluation 2026 for Class 12 Students
Step 1: Apply for a Scanned Copy of the Evaluated Answer Book
Students who are dissatisfied with their marks must first apply for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer sheet. Students can apply for an answer sheet for single or multiple subjects.
Students can review:
- Whether all answers were evaluated
- Totalling/calculation errors
- Missing pages or unmarked responses
- Uploading/transcription discrepancies
- Overall marking pattern

Step 2: Apply for Verification of Marks or Re-evaluation
Only students who have completed Step 1 (applied for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer sheet) are eligible to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation.
(i) Applying for Verification
After reviewing the scanned answer book, students may apply for verification if discrepancies are observed. Apply here: https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk/reeval.aspx
Verification Includes
- Totalling errors
- Unevaluated answers
- Errors in the transfer/uploading of marks
- Technical discrepancies in the evaluation
(ii) Applying for Re-evaluation
Students who believe that the marks awarded are incorrect, with missing/unmarked responses, may apply for re-evaluation. Apply here: https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk/reeval.aspx
Important Points
- Students must specify the exact questions to be re-evaluated.
- CBSE will re-check only those identified answers.
- Marks may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged.
- Revised marks after re-evaluation will be treated as final.
- No application after the scheduled date and time will be accepted.
- No offline applications will be accepted.
Key Operational Guidelines
- The entire process is online only
- Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted (Refer to the table below)
- Students should review scanned copies carefully before applying for verification/re-evaluation
- Revised marks, if changed, will be reflected in updated mark statements issued by CBSE
- The subject expert committee will review and communicate the final decision
- The decision of CBSE will be final and binding.
Refund Policy
If marks increase after re-evaluation, the re-evaluation fee paid by the student will be refunded.

Note: Earlier, the deadline to apply for it was May 22, which has now been revised to May 23, 2026. The extension was done due to a technical problem encountered on the CBSE website for Post-Verification Facilities.
Candidates are advised to make use of this extended timeline and apply accordingly. All other terms and conditions of the facility remain unchanged.
