Introduction
Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS) is a six-week summer program in mathematics for strongly motivated high school students who are carefully selected from across the U.S. and around the world.
PROMYS India Update 2026
For 2026, the PROMYS Foundation has decided to pause the usual on-campus program in India that was previously held at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Instead, selected Indian students and counsellors will be invited to attend the main PROMYS program at Boston University during the summer of 2026.
This change is temporary and reflects a strategic opportunity to integrate Indian participants into the flagship PROMYS experience in the United States.
