Introduction

The NMIMS-NPAT is the official entrance test for admission to a wide range of undergraduate programmes at The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The test is used for entry into programmes in Commerce, Economics, International Studies, Branding & Advertising, Liberal Arts, and Business Management across NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.

Candidates can apply for up to five programmes, including:

Programme Fees: Tuition fees at NMIMS vary significantly across programmes and campuses. Each course has its own fee structure depending on the discipline and location, for example, the annual tuition fee for NMIMS’s BBA programmes differs from one campus to another, and specialised or honours programmes typically have higher fees compared to standard UG courses. Note: The NPAT exam has no sectional time limits, allowing candidates the flexibility to attempt sections in any order. The test is entirely computer-based (CBT) and follows a speed-focused pattern, making effective time management just as important as subject knowledge for securing a high score. 

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Official NPAT Website and begin registration by clicking on “Apply Now”.
  2. Create Account and Fill Application Form: Enter basic details (personal, academic, contact) to set up an account.
  3. Select Programmes & Campuses: Based on eligibility criteria select the test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMSCET / NMIMS-LAT/ NMIMSMST) / School / Program and campus preferences
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned passport-size photo, signature and other required educational documents.
  5. Pay Application Fee: The fee is paid online and varies based on the number of programmes selected (starting at ₹2,000 for one programme, increasing with each additional programme).
  6. Submit & Print Confirmation:  After payment, submit the form and save/print the confirmation for your records.

Note:  The registration fees are based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes. Candidates can attempt maximum 2 retakes in any selected category i.e. (1st main test plus 2 retakes). The highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for the respective school merit process.
