NEET UG is the entrance exam for several medical and paramedical programmes:
- Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
- Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
- Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
- Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc. nursing: Military Nursing Service aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals are required to qualify for NEET)

NEET Eligibility:
Pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Biotechnology
- English as a core subject
Minimum marks:
- General: 50%
- SC/ST/OBC: 40%
- PwD: 45%

NEET Counseling:
NEET counselling is the next step that comes after clearing the exam. Candidates will get admitted to Medical colleges any place in India through NEET counselling. On the basis of the All India Rank of the candidate and their choice of college, the seats will be allocated.
- Information for online counselling would only be available on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website (www.mcc.nic.in).
- Applicants must provide a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable tuition fee.
