# What is the minimum percentage one should have in Class 10 and 12 to get into a good Hong Kong university?

There’s no fixed “cut‑off percentage” published, but for competitive programmes at top universities like HKU, HKUST, CityUHK or CUHK, Indian students generally aim for 85%–95%+ in Class 12 and strong Class 10 scores to be competitive and considered for scholarships. English requirements (like IELTS/TOEFL) also matter. Admission is competitive and grade expectations vary by programme and university.
