# How can I know that law is the suitable field for me?

Do not choose law only because you enjoy debating or want to "fight for justice." Try reading case summaries, legal news and opinion pieces, and explore different areas of legal work. Law also involves substantial reading, writing, research, analysis and attention to detail. Your interest in these activities is a better indicator than one particular school subject.
