# How can I strengthen my application to a competitive French university?

Build a strong academic record, particularly in subjects relevant to your intended degree. Research the programme's prerequisites, meet its language requirements and prepare a clear statement explaining your academic interests and future goals. Where relevant, include subject-related projects, competitions, independent learning or other evidence of your interest in the field. Always check the institution's specific selection criteria.
