About the scholarship
We are thrilled to announce our scholarship nomination program in collaboration with Plaksha University aimed at empowering students to achieve their academic aspirations.
This scholarship offers 10% to 100% tuition fee waiver. The full tuition fee waiver is valued at up to ~₹34 lakhs over four years, making top-tier education accessible and affordable for our brightest minds.

How to self nominate for the scholarship
STEP 1
Apply to Plaksha University
- Complete Plaksha’s application here (no application fee) –
Deadline: 7 June, 2026 - After completion you will receive the Plaksha application ID.
STEP 2
Fill up the self nomination form
- Submit the CAP Student Interest Form by clicking here. –
Deadline: 12 June 2026 - Make sure you use the same Plaksha application ID.
STEP 3
Inform your School Counselor/ Principal
- Inform your school counselor/ principal and provide your Plaksha Application ID to be considered for the scholarship.

FAQs
What expenses does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship only covers tuition fees. Expenses such as hostel fees and other charges are not included, unless a student demonstrates financial need. In such cases, students can apply for additional financial assistance separately.
Is being a day scholar an option for me?
The Plaksha undergraduate education program is set up as a fully residential experience, meaning all students must live on campus. We think that living on campus will play a big role in the overall student experience.
Can international students self nominate for this scholarship program?
This scholarship is exclusively available to students currently enrolled in DPS schools, both in India and abroad.
Will the scholarship be applicable for all four years for undergrad?
Yes, the scholarship will be applicable, but the student must meet certain criteria to sustain their scholarship after the first year.
By when can I submit the interest form?
The final date to submit the interest form is 11:59 PM, 12 June. But make sure to apply on Plaksha’s website first by 7 June 2026.
I am a Punjab domicile holder. Does that affect my admission at Plaksha?
Yes. 15% of the total seats in each BTech programme are reserved for applicants who hold a Punjab Domicile certificate. If you have a valid Punjab Domicile certificate, you will be considered under this reserved category. The rest of the admissions process (application form, virtual interaction, and holistic evaluation) remains the same for all applicants.
When do I apply for financial aid?
The financial aid application opens only after you have received an offer of admission. Only applicants with an offer will be invited to fill a separate financial aid form.
How much financial aid can I get?
Financial aid ranges from 25% to 100% of tuition and residence costs, depending on your family’s financial situation. For salaried families, need-based financial aid is considered if the household’s gross annual income (including salary and income from all sources) is below Rs 50 lakh per annum. In exceptional cases, the admission fee and living expenses may also be waived for students from low-income households.
Our family income is above Rs 50 lakh. Am I still eligible for need based support?
Need-based financial aid is primarily for salaried families with income below Rs 50 lakh.
I haven't received my Class 12 results yet. Can I still apply?
Yes. You can apply using your predicted scores or Class 11 marks. If shortlisted, you may receive a conditional offer of admission, which is confirmed once your final Class 12 results are submitted and verified.
