AILET 2026

AILET is a national level All India Law Entrance Test examination conducted by the National Law University Delhi every year for admission to their UG (B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Programme) and PG (LL.M. (One Year) Programme) Programmes. Situated in Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi, NLU is one of the leading law universities in India.

Total Duration: 120 minutes 

Eligibility 

  • Candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination with 45% of the total marks (42% in case of OBC’s and 40% for SC/ST/Person with Disability).
  • There is no upper age limit for the candidates applying for AILET and seeking admission in BA LLB. 
  • Those who will be appearing in the 12th standard examination will also be eligible to apply. However, it is vital that the candidate obtains their 10+2 aggregate score before the cut-off date. Candidates placed in the compartment in the year of the admission, would be treated as ineligible.

Exam Date

  • Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2.00 PM to 4:00 PM.

  • The last date for submission of the online application form is November 10, 2025.

Where will AILET 2026 be conducted?

  • The AILET 2026 will be conducted in Offline i.e. Pen & Paper (OMR sheet based) mode in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Haldwani, Hisar, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is Rs.3,000/-.
  • Application fee in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is Rs.1,000/-. 
  • SC/ST and women candidates who are Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants are exempted from payment of the online application fee.
